Removal Procedure
- Pull the upper reveal molding joints (2, 6) from the left and right sides of the rear door.
- Pull the upper reveal molding (8) from the rear door.
Installation Procedure
- Apply a bead of urethane adhesive from the kit GM P/N 12346284 into the cavity between the body and the window.
- Install the upper reveal molding (8) to the rear door.
- Start at the center of the upper reveal molding (8) in order to press the upper reveal molding (8) into place.
- Press the upper reveal molding left and right joints (2, 6) into place.
- Use tape, as needed, in order to retain the reveal molding until the urethane cures.
- Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Important: Trim the upper reveal molding (8), as needed, in order to fit in the cavity between the body and the window (7).
