Removal Procedure
- Unsnap the rear garnish (3) from the lower right side of the rear door.
- Cut the lower reveal molding (4).
- Remove the lower reveal molding (4) from the rear door.
- Remove the lower reveal molding joint (5) from the left side of the rear door.
Installation Procedure
- Apply a bead of urethane adhesive from the kit GM P/N 12346284 into the cavity between the body and the window.
- Install the lower reveal molding (4) to the rear door.
- Starting at the center, press the lower reveal molding (4) into place.
- Install the lower reveal molding joint (5) to the left side of the rear door.
- Press the lower reveal molding joint (5) into place.
- Apply tape, as needed, in order to retain the lower reveal molding (4) until the urethane cures.
- Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Important: Trim the lower reveal molding (4), as needed, in order to fit in the cavity between the body and the window.
