Removal Procedure
- Remove the left-side upper and lower reveal molding joints (5, 8) from the rear door.
- Pull the left-side reveal molding (6) from the rear door.
Installation Procedure
- Apply a bead of urethane adhesive from the kit GM P/N 12346284 into the cavity between the body and the window.
- Install the left-side reveal molding (6).
- Starting at the center of the left-side reveal molding (6), press the left-side reveal molding into place.
- Press the upper and lower left-side reveal molding joints (5, 8) to the rear door.
- Apply tape, as needed, in order to retain the left-side reveal molding (6) until the urethane cures.
- Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Important: Trim the left-side reveal molding (6), as needed, in order to fit the left-side reveal molding (6) in the cavity between the rear door and the window.
