Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 352030 Size: SH
  1. Unclip the front side marker lamp (2) from the front fender (1).
  2. Remove the front side marker lamp bulb socket (3) from the lamp (2).
  3. Remove the lamp (2) from the vehicle.

    4. Object Number: 352036 Size: MH
  4. Remove the 9 screws and the wheelhousing (2) from the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 352041 Size: SH

    Notice: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.

  5. Remove the screw, the nut and the rocker panel front trim cover (1) from the vehicle in order to gain access to the 2 front fender lower mounting bolts.
  6. Remove the 2 front fender lower mounting bolts.
  7. Open the front door.

  8. Remove the 2 bolts from the front fender upper extension panel (3).

    9. Object Number: 352046 Size: SH
  9. Remove the screw from the front fender (1).
  10. Remove the 4 bolts along the top of the front fender (1).
  11. Remove the front fender (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 352046 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the front fender (1) to the vehicle. Secure the fender with the 4 bolts along the top of the fender (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the front fender bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Install the screw to the front fender (1).

  3. Connect the 2 bolts to the front fender upper extension panel (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the front fender bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Close the front door.
  5. Install the 2 front fender lower mounting bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the front fender bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  6. Inspect the front fender (1) for proper clearance, flushness, and alignment. Refer to Body Front End Adjustment Specifications and Door Adjustment Specifications .

    7. Object Number: 352041 Size: SH
  7. Install the rocker panel front trim cover (1) to the vehicle. Secure the trim cover with the nut and the screw.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the rocker panel front trim cover nut to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  8. Install the wheelhousing (2) to the vehicle. Secure the wheelhousing with the 9 screws.

  9. Install the front side marker lamp bulb socket (3) to the lamp (2).
  10. Install the front side marker lamp (2) to the front fender (1) by clipping the lamp into place.
