Did you perform the Outside Mirror System Check?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Use a J 35616-200 to backprobe the power mirror switch from cavity 7 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in the BLK/WHT wire between fuse block 2 and the power mirror switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Use a J 35616-200 to backprobe the power mirror switch from cavity 5 to B+.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in the BLK wire between the power mirror switch and G200. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the power mirror switch connector and the left front power mirror switch assembly connector.
3. Connect a J 39200 from cavity 3 of the left front power mirror switch assembly connector to cavity 6 of the power mirror switch.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

0-0.3 ohms

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in the WHT wire between the power mirror switch and S238. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the power mirror switch.

Is the repair complete?
