Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 352102 Size: SH
  1. In order to support the door (2), place a piece of wood between a floor jack (1) and the door (2).
  2. Mark the position of the door hinge on the door.

    3. Object Number: 352107 Size: SH
  3. Remove the door open stop pin (2).
  4. Disconnect the rear door electrical connectors.

    5. Object Number: 352124 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 4 door to hinge bolts.
  6. Remove the door (4) from the hinge (1).
  7. Remove the 2 hinge bolts which secure the hinge to the door jamb.
  8. Remove the hinge (1) from the door jamb.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 352124 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the hinge (1) to the door jamb (2). Secure the hinge with the 2 bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge to door jamb bolts to 34 N·m (25 lb ft).

  2. Install the door to the hinges. Secure the door with the 4 bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge to door bolts to 34 N·m (25 lb ft).

  3. Connect the rear door electrical connectors.
  4. Install the door open stop pin (2).
  5. Adjust the door lock striker. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Striker Replacement .
