Voltage applies to the power mirror switch from the CIGAR RADIO fuse when the ignition switch is in the ACC position or in the ON position. The power mirror switch permanently grounds to G200.
Each power mirror has two reversible motors. One motor moves the mirror UP and DOWN. The other motor moves the mirror LEFT and RIGHT. The driver operates the power mirror switch in order to control the polarity of the voltage to the motors. The power mirror select switch directs voltage to either the right or the left power mirror assemblies.
When you place the power mirror select switch in the L position and you hold the power mirror switch in the UP position, battery voltage applies through the UP contacts of the power mirror switch to the up-down motor in the left front mirror assembly. The up-down motor grounds through the power mirror switch to G200. The up-down motor continues to run and turn the power mirror until you release the power mirror switch.
When you hold the power mirror switch in the DOWN position, battery voltage applies through the DOWN contacts of the power mirror switch to the up-down motor in the left front power mirror assembly. The up-down motor grounds through the power mirror switch to G200. The up-down motor continues to run and turn the power mirror down until you release the power mirror switch.
The left-right motor operates in a similar manner. When you place the power mirror select switch in the L position and you hold the power mirror switch in the LEFT position, battery voltage applies through the LEFT contacts of the power mirror switch to the left-right motor in the left front right power mirror assembly. The left-right motor grounds through the power mirror switch to G200. The left-right motor continues to run and turn the power mirror left until you release the power mirror switch.
When you hold the power mirror switch in the RIGHT position, battery voltage applies through the RIGHT contacts of the power mirror switch to the left-right motor in the left front power mirror assembly. The left-right motor grounds through the power mirror switch to G200. The left-right motor continues to run and turn the power mirror right until you release the power mirror switch.
The right front power mirror operates in the same way as the left front power mirror when you place the power mirror select switch in the R position and you operate the power mirror switch.
