Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Notice: The retainer clip must be fully disengaged before the switch plate is removed. Otherwise, damage to the switch plate could result.

  3. Gently pry the power window/power door lock switch out of the door trim panel using a taped flat-bladed tool.
  4. Disconnect the power window/power door lock switch electrical connector.
  5. Remove the power window/power door lock switch from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the power window/power door lock switch electrical connector.
  2. Install the power window/power door lock switch by snapping the switch into the door trim panel.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
