Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement 2 Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 351572  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the 2 bolts which secure each side of the rear seatback (1).
  3. Remove the rear seatback (1) from the rear seat cushion (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 351572  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear seatback (1) to the rear seat cushion (3). Secure the rear seatback (1) with 2 bolts of each side.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seatback bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear seat cushion trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement .

Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement 4 Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 351604  Size: LH
  1. Fold the rear seatback (14, 3).
  2. Raise the rear seat.
  3. Remove the bolt from the left rear seat frame hinge (5).
  4. Remove the left side rear seatback (3) from the rear seat frame hinge (5) and the right rear seatback (14).
  5. Remove the bolt from the right rear seat frame hinge (5).
  6. Remove the right rear seatback (14) from the rear seat frame hinge post.
  7. Remove the rear seatback hinge trim from the rear seat frame hinge post.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear seatback hinge trim on the rear seat frame hinge post.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.   3. Install the right rear seatback to the rear seat frame hinge. Secure the seatback with the rear seat frame hinge bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat frame hinge bolt to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  5. Install the left rear seatback (3) into the right side seat. Secure the left rear seatback (3) to the rear seat frame hinge (5) with the rear seat frame hinge bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat frame hinge bolt to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  7. Raise the rear seatback into the upright position.
