Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 351532  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Pull the front seat back recliner mechanism handle off the recliner mechanism.
  3. Remove the 3 screws which secure the front seat back recliner mechanism trim cover (2).
  4. Remove the front seat back recliner mechanism trim cover (2).

  6. Remove the front seat adjuster actuator cable (2) from the recliner mechanism (1).
  7. Remove the front seat adjuster actuator cable (2) from the seat adjuster.
  8. Remove the 2 bolts which secure the front seat adjuster.
  9. Remove the front seat adjuster from the front seat cushion.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the front seat adjuster to the front seat cushion. Secure the front seat adjuster with the 2 bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat adjuster bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Install the front seat adjuster actuator cable (2) to the seat adjuster.
  4. Install the front seat adjuster actuator cable (2) to the recliner mechanism (1).

  6. Install the front seat back recliner mechanism trim cover (2) to the recliner mechanism (1). Secure the recliner mechanism (1) with the 3 screws.
  7. Install the seat back recliner mechanism handle onto the recliner mechanism (1).
  8. Install the front seat to the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
