Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement 2 Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 351427  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (1).
  2. Loosen the front door opening weatherstrip (3).
  3. Remove the 2 plastic retainers that secure the lower center pillar trim panel (2).
  4. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 351427  Size: SH
  1. Install the lower center pillar trim panel (2) to the vehicle. Secure the panel with the 2 plastic retainers.
  2. Press the front door opening weatherstrip (3) into place.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (1).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat belt lower anchor bolt to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement 4 Door

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor bolt.
  2. Loosen the front door opening weatherstrip.
  3. Remove the 2 plastic retainers that secure the lower center pillar trim panel.
  4. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower center pillar trim panel to the vehicle. Secure the panel with the 2 plastic retainers.
  2. Press the front door opening weatherstrip into place.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.   4. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt.
  5. Tighten
