Models:1999-2000 Chevrolet Trans Sport (Export Only)
1998-2000 Cadillac Seville (Export Only)

Attention: U.S. and Canadian Dealers are not authorized to utilize this Service Bulletin.

The models described above are shipped from the assembly plants with two (2) sets of ignition keys.

If service of the vehicle results in the replacement of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), or the Theft Control Module, perform the procedure below. This will allow the vehicle to accept the ignition keys used in the vehicle.

If the Theft Control Module is replaced, the control module will learn the keys immediately. However, the fuel control continue password from the theft control module will be different. The PCM will not recognize the password and the PCM will disable the fuel delivery.

    • The PASS-Key® III system must always know at least two keys.
    • The vehicle may be programmed to accept up to ten keys total.
    • The key re-learn procedure will require the use of a Tech 2 scan tool and a Techline terminal .
