  1. Disconnect the PCM connector C2.
  2. Set the ignition switch to RUN.

Is the CHARGE indicator on?

  1. Connect the PCM connector C2.
  2. Disconnect the generator connector.
  3. Set the gear selector to PARK.
  4. Start the Engine.
  5. Run the engine over 1200 RPM for at least 10 seconds.

Is the CHARGE indicator on?

Check circuit 225 for a short to ground

Is there a short to ground in circuit 225?

Repair the short to ground in circuit 225.

Service the PCM. Refer to engine controls.
