Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1263954 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the hose from the clutch release cylinder.

    3. Object Number: 1263956 Size: SH
  3. Remove the clutch release cylinder bolts and remove the release cylinder from the transaxle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1263956 Size: SH
  1. Install the release cylinder to the transaxle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the clutch release cylinder bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the clutch release cylinder bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  3. Connect the hose to the clutch release cylinder. Install the bolts.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Bleed the air.
  6. Adjust the clutch pedal.
  7. Fill reservoir with clutch/brake fluid up to the MAX level.
