EN 6623 Installer

- Position the NEW crankshaft rear oil seal.
1.1. | Position the crankshaft rear oil seal in such a way that the crankshaft rear oil seal housing is over the corresponding cut-out on the cylinder block. |
| Note: Do not press in the seal ring all the way.

1.2. | Slide the crankshaft rear oil seal over the crankshaft. Push, until the crankshaft rear oil seal is flush and sits evenly in the cylinder block. |
- Using the
EN 6623 installer
, install the crankshaft rear oil seal (1).
2.1. | Tighten the 3 bolts (2). |
2.2. | Press the crankshaft rear oil seal all the way in. |
2.3. | Install the bolt (3). |
- Remove the
EN 6623 installer
.
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Install the crankshaft position sensor (2) to the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (3).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt (1) and tighten to
5 N·m (44 lb in).
