Removal Procedure
  1. Remove Instrument Panel Compartment Assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  2. Remove Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.

    3. Object Number: 2027683 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 instrument panel bolts (1).

    4. Object Number: 2027710 Size: SH

    Note: Pull back the instrument panel compartment (4) from the instrument panel compartment bracket just far enough to gain access to the instrument panel compartment lower bracket bolt (3).

  4. Remove instrument panel compartment lower bracket (2).

    5. Remove instrument panel compartment lower bracket bolts (1, 3).

  5. Remove auxiliary heater core (2).
    • Remove 2 auxiliary heater core bolts (1).
    • Disconnect auxiliary heater core wiring harness plug (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2027718 Size: SH

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install auxiliary heater core (2).
    2. • Install 2 auxiliary heater core bolts (1) and tighten to  XXX N·m (XXX lb in).
    • Connect auxiliary heater core wiring harness plug.

    Note: Pull back the instrument panel compartment (4) from the instrument panel compartment bracket just far enough to gain access to the instrument panel compartment lower bracket bolt (3).

  2. Install instrument panel compartment lower bracket (2).

    3. Install instrument panel compartment lower bracket bolts (1, 3) and tighten to  XXX N·m (XXX lb in).

  3. Install the 2 instrument panel bolts (1) and tighten to  XXX N·m(XXX lb in).
  4. Install instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.
  5. Install instrument panel compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
