Makes 🢒 Daewoo 🢒 2009 🢒 Lacetti (Global Delta) 🢒 Suspension 🢒 Front Suspension 🢒 Lower Control Arm Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

    3. Note: DO NOT re-use the lower ball joint bolt. Discard and use NEW only.

  3. Remove wheel speed sensor wiring harness from control arm and steering knuckle.

  4. Remove the lower ball joint to knuckle nut and bolt (1).
  5. Separate the lower control arm from the knuckle.

    6. Object Number: 2027744 Size: SH
  6. Remove the front lower control arm nut and bolt (1).

    7. Object Number: 2027746 Size: SH
  7. Remove the rear lower control arm bushing nuts and bolts (1).

    8. Object Number: 2027747 Size: SH
  8. Remove the lower control (1) arm from the front frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2027747 Size: SH
  1. Position the lower control arm (1) in the cradle.

    2. Object Number: 2027746 Size: SH
  2. Install and hand tighten the rear lower control arm bushing nuts and bolts (1).

    3. Object Number: 2027744 Size: SH
  3. Install and hand tighten the front lower control arm nut and bolt.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2027743 Size: SH
  4. Install the ball joint to knuckle bolt and nut and tighten to  XX N·m (xx lb ft).
  5. Load the front suspension with the proper jack stand before tightening the bolts to specifications.
  6. Tighten the front lower control arm bolt to  XX N·m (xx lb ft).
  7. Tighten the rear bushing to frame bolts to  XX N·m (xx lb ft).
  8. Remove the jack stand.
  9. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
