EN-45059 Torque Angle Sensor Kit

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement.

  3. Object Number: 2028087  Size: SH
  4. Remove the wheel speed sensor screw (2).
  5. Remove the wheel speed sensor (1) from the steering knuckle.
  6. Remove the wheel drive shaft from the front wheel bearing/hub. Refer to front wheel drive shaft replacement Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side and/or Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side.

  7. Object Number: 2027764  Size: MH
  8. Remove and discard the front wheel bearing/hub bolts (1).

  9. Object Number: 2027685  Size: SH
  10. Remove the front wheel bearing/hub (2) and front brake shield (2) from the steering knuckle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2027685  Size: SH
  1. Position the front brake shield (1) and front wheel bearing/hub (2) assembly in the steering knuckle.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2027764  Size: MH
  3. Install the NEW front wheel bearing/hub bolts (1).
  4. Tighten the bearing/hub bolts (1) in 3 passes. Use the EN-45059 kit .
  5. • First pass to 90 N·m (67 lb ft)
    • Second pass to 60°
    • Third pass to 15°
  6. Install the wheel drive shaft at the front wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side or Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side.

  7. Object Number: 2028087  Size: SH
  8. Install the wheel speed senor (1) to the steering knuckle.
  9. Install the wheel speed sensor screw (2) and tighten to  6 N·m (54 lb in).
  10. Install the brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement.
  11. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
