Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2027556 Size: SH
  2. Remove the shift lever and selector lever cable adjust locks (1).

    3. Object Number: 2027557 Size: SH
  3. Remove the transmission control bolts (1, 2).

    4. Object Number: 2027560 Size: SH
  4. Remove the shift lever and selector lever cable retainer (1) from the transmission control.
  5. Disconnect the shift lever and selector lever cables (2) from the shift control adjusters.
  6. Remove the transmission control.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2027560 Size: SH
  1. Connect the shift lever and selector lever cables (2) to the shift control adjusters.
  2. Install the shift lever and selector lever cable retainer (1) to the transmission control.

    3. Object Number: 2027557 Size: SH
  3. Install the transmission control.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the transmission control bolts (1, 2) and tighten to  8 N·m (71 lb in).
  5. Adjust the shift lever and selector lever cables. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Adjustment.
  6. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement.
