  1. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement.
  2. Remove the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement.
  3. Remove the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement.

Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Screw Bolt (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
