The DVD screen and rear seat entertainment interface module communicate with each other to verify that a security code relayed between the two components is valid. The DTC will pass when the both components acknowledge a matching code.
| • | The RSE system transitions from OFF to ON. This may be in response to the RSE system power switch or an ignition key cycle. |
| • | This DTCs will set when there is a security code mismatch. |
| • | Battery voltage must be between 9-16 volts. |
The system will enter the Theft Detected Mode.
| • | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
| • | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles. |
| • | The DTC can be cleared using a scan tool. |
