For 1990-2009 cars only
- Block the wheels.
- Start the engine.
- Charge the system to the air compressor governor cut-out point.
- Stop the engine.
- Inspect the pressure protection valve for any air leakage. A 25.4 mm (1 in) bubble in 3 seconds or longer is acceptable.
- Drain the air pressure from the delivery port and remove the air line connection.
- Inspect the delivery port for any leakage. A 25.4 mm (1 in) bubble in 5 seconds or longer is acceptable.
- Connect the air line to the delivery port.
- Remove the wheel blocks.
If the air leakage is excessive, replace the pressure protection valve.
If the air leakage is excessive, replace the pressure protection valve.
