Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Keep the turn signal switch in the left turn position.
  2. Disconnect the harness connector from the turn/hazard flasher module.
  3. Connect a DMM between terminal 7 in the turn/hazard flasher module harness connector and the chassis ground.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the turn/hazard flasher module.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Keep the DMM connected.
  2. Disconnect the harness connector C1 from the multifunction switch.
  3. Remove the chassis ground connection from the DMM.
  4. Connect the chassis ground connection to terminal 6 in the multifunction switch harness connector.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Replace the multifunction switch.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Repair the open in CKT 132 (BLU/BLK) between the multifunction switch and the turn/hazard flasher module.

Is the repair complete?
