  1. Place the turn signal switch in the left turn position.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster harness connector
  3. Connect a test lamp between connector C2 terminal 3 and chassis ground.

Does the test lamp flash?

Replace the IP cluster.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Keep the turn signal switch in the left turn position.
  2. Disconnect the harness connector C212.
  3. Connect a test lamp between terminal C3 in the lower IP harness connector C212 and the chassis ground.

Does the test lamp flash?

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in CKT 17 (LT BLU) between terminal C3 in the upper IP harness connector and connector C2 terminal  3 in the IP cluster harness connector.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Repair the open in CKT 142 (LT BLU) between S259 and terminal C3 in the lower IP harness connector.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK
