In order to equalize wear, rotate the tire and wheel assemblies at intervals specified, refer to Maintenance and Lubrication. In addition to the scheduled rotation, rotate the tire and wheel assemblies whenever uneven tire wear is noticed.
Due to their design, radial tires tend to wear faster in the shoulder area, particularly in front positions. Radial tires in non-drive locations may develop an irregular wear pattern that may increase tire noise if not rotated.
After rotation, inspect the wheel nuts for fastener tightening specification and adjust the inflation pressure.
