Driver Seat Belt Buckle Replacement Power Seat

Removal Procedure

  1. Position the driver seat back in order to access the driver seat buckle side belt nut.

  2. Object Number: 187377  Size: SH
  3. Remove the driver seat belt side buckle nut (2).
  4. Remove the driver seal belt side buckle (1).
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 187377  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the driver seat belt side buckle (1).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the driver seat belt side buckle nut (2).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the driver seat belt side buckle nut to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  1. Position the driver seat back in order to access seat belt side buckle bolt.

  2. Object Number: 187375  Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat belt side buckle bolt (2).
  4. Remove the seat belt side belt (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 187375  Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt side buckle (1).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.
