Removal Procedure

    Important: Do NOT attempt repairs of the lock assembly.

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 332792 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear door locking rod.
  4. Remove the rear door inside handle rod (3).

Installation Procedure
  1. Pull on the inside lock handle lever until the lock assembly is in the full open position.
  2. Verify that the actuating arm rubber bumper is on the actuating arm.
  3. Manually operate the lock assembly by pushing inward on the fork bolt until the bolt clicks into the fully closed position. Ensure that the lock operates to the fully closed position without any interference.

    4. Object Number: 332792 Size: SH
  4. Install the rear door inside handle rod (3) to the rear door lock.
  5. Install the rear door locking rod (1) to the rear door lock.
  6. Test the operation of the actuator and door lock switch.
  7. Install the rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  8. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
