Mobile Telephone Microphone Replacement without Sunroof

1. Lower the front of the headliner for access to the overhead console opening and the OnStar® microphone retainers. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Disengage the OnStar® microphone retainers. Remove the microphone from the overhead console.

1. Align the OnStar® microphone to the overhead console. Install the microphone.
2. Connect the electrical connector.



3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

Mobile Telephone Microphone Replacement with Sunroof

1. Remove the sunroof control switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement in Roof.



2. Disengage the retainers. Remove the OnStar® microphone from the sunroof control switch bezel.

1. Align the OnStar® microphone to the sunroof control switch bezel. Install the microphone to the bezel.



2. Install the sunroof control switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement in Roof.
