This bulletin is being revised to add a VIN breakpoint to the models affected list. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 02-08-45-002 (Section 08 -- Body and Accessories).
Some customers may comment on an intermittent stall and/or that the Service Engine Soon light is illuminated.
This condition may be caused by the nut that retains ground G103 bottoming out before clamping the splice pack securely. This results in a poor and/or intermittent electrical connection.
• | On four cylinder engines, remove the duct from the air cleaner assembly to the air intake resonator. |
• | On six cylinder engines, remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (SI Document ID #710346). |
