Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.

    2. Object Number: 69933 Size: SH
  2. Drain the coolant from the surge tank. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

    3. Object Number: 69937 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the clamps and hoses .

    4. Object Number: 69940 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fasteners retaining the reservoir.
  5. Lift up the reservoir and disconnect the low coolant level sensor electrical connector.
  6. Remove the surge tank.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 69940 Size: SH
  1. Connect the low coolant level sensor electrical connector.
  2. Install the surge tank in position in the vehicle.
  3. Install the fasteners.

    4. Object Number: 69937 Size: SH
  4. Connect the hoses and clamps to the surge tank.
  5. Refill the surge tank with coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
