Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement VIN C

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.



3. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the engine
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the radiator.

1. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the engine.
2. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the radiator.
3. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
4. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
5. Start the engine.
6. Check for leaks.

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Plier

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
3. Remove the lower front air defletor.
4. Remove the upper tie bar.



5. Remove the outlet radiator hose clamp from the engine.
6. Remove the outlet raditor hose from the engine.



7. Remove the outlet radiator hose clamp from the radiator.
8. Remove the outlet radiator hose from the radiator.

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Plier

1. Install the outlet radiator hose to the radiator.
2. Install the outlet radiator hose clamp to the radiator.



3. Install the outlet radiator hose to the engine.
4. Install the outlet raditor hose clamp to the engine.
5. Install the upper tie bar.
6. Install the lower front air deflector.
7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
8. Start the engine and checks for leaks.
