- Loosen the inner adjustment link cam nut.
- In order to adjust the toe, rotate the cam bolt (1) using an 8 mm socket on the threaded end of the bolt. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .
- Tighten the tie rod nut,
- Recheck the toe setting after tightening.
- Readjust the toe setting if necessary.
Important: Make left and right rear toe adjustments separately, per wheel, using the following procedure.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the cam nut to 75 N·m (55 lb ft.).
Tighten
Tighten the tie rod nut to 64 N·m (47 lb ft).
