1. Remove the caliper. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement or Rear Brake Caliper Replacement .
2. Remove the brake pads from the caliper anchor bracket.
3. Remove the caliper anchor bracket bolts.
4. Remove the anchor bracket.

Important:  Apply a few drops of GM Loctite™ (or equivalent) to the threads of the caliper anchor bracket bolts before installing or irreplaceable bolts with new pre-coated bolts.

1. Install the caliper anchor bracket to the steering knucle.
2. Install the caliper anchor bracket bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the caliper anchor bracket bolts to 185 N·m (137 lb ft).

3. Install the caliper. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement or Rear Brake Caliper Replacement .
