Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Disassemble - Off Vehicle Olds

Important: Before performing the following procedures, check the fused jumper assembly for burnt 2 amp fuses.

1. Remove the upper and lower covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .



2. Pop the wire harness assembly out of the wire harness strap (1).



3. Remove the SIR coil connector from the jumper assembly connector.



4. Remove the retaining ring (1).
5. Remove the SIR coil assembly (2).
6. Remove the wave washer (3).
