Did you perform the entire Exterior Lights System Check?

  1. Disconnect the hazard flasher connector.
  2. Measure the voltage to ground at the hazard flasher connector terminal B (ORN).

Is battery voltage measured?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

  1. Set the turn/hazard switch to the HAZARD position.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the hazard flasher connector terminal B (ORN) and terminal A (BRN)

Do all of the turn lamps light?

Go to Step 4

Replace the hazard flasher.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 140 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect CKT 27 (BRN) for an open or short to ground. Refer to Testing for Continuity or Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 27 OK

Go to Step 7

Replace the turn/hazard switch assembly. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

Is the repair complete?
