Did you perform the entire Interior Lights System Check?

  1. Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch switch connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the rear compartment lid latch switch connector terminal A (ORN/BLK) and ground.
  3. Set the ignition switch to the ON position.

Does the rear compartment lamp light?

Inspect CKT 1050 (BLK) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 1050 OK?

Inspect CKT 1732 (ORN) for an open or short to ground between S336 and the rear compartment lamp. Refer to Testing for Continuity or Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 1732 OK?

Inspect CKT 737 (ORN/BLK) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 737 OK?

Replace the rear compartment lid latch switch. Refer to Fuel/Rear Compartment Release Switch Replacement Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Replace the rear compartment lamp. Refer to Rear Compartment Courtesy Lamp Replacement .
