Perform the Audible Warnings System Check before processing.

Is the system check complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the body control module (mall) connector C1.
  3. Measure the voltage from connector C1 terminal H (harness side) to ground.

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 4

  1. Inspect CKT 1540 (ORN) for an open.
  2. Inspect CKT 1540 (ORN) for a short to ground.
  3. Inspect the power dr lk fuse for an open.

Are the circuits OK?

--

Go to Power Distribution for Diagnosis

Go to Step 10

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Measure the voltage from connector C1 terminal G (harness side) to ground.

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

  1. Inspect CKT 640 (ORN/BLK) for an open.
  2. Inspect CKT 640 (ORN/BLK) for a short to ground.
  3. Inspect the int lp fuse for an open.

Are the circuits OK?

Go to Step 10

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Measure the voltage from connector C1 terminal H (harness side) to terminal D (harness side) .

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 8

Inspect CKT 150 (BLK) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

Go to Step 10

  1. Disconnect the mall module connector C2.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  3. Measure the voltage from connector C2 terminal C13 (harness side) to ground.

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 11

Go to Step 9

  1. Inspect CKT 39 (PNK) for an open.
  2. Inspect CKT 39 (PNK) for a short to ground.
  3. Inspect the IGN 1 fuse for an open.

Are the circuits OK?

Go to Power Distribution for Diagnosis

Go to Step 10

Repair the open or short to ground.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect the mall module connectors for proper terminal contact.

Is the contact OK?
