Important:
Pressing YES or NO may disable other features.
Select YES on each function that needs to be enabled for the particular vehicle RPO.
12.1. | Use the RPO chart and select the functions that are standard or optional for the particular vehicle being serviced. |
Failure to program the RFA module properly may cause the system to malfunction. A malfunction may cause misdiagnosis and customer complaints.
12.2. | When selecting the functions on a new RFA module on a vehicle that has Theft Deterrent UA6, go into option 3 on the scan tool. |
12.3. | Speed Up will appear as your only selection. |
12.4. | Select Deactivate. |
12.5. | Save the options. |
12.6. | Exit the system. |
If the function is not reset, the 30 second theft lamp illumination will reduce to 2 seconds.
The misdiagnosis of the theft deterrent system may occur it the function is not set properly.
