This procedure performs the following functions:
• | Initializes the memory |
• | Erases any previous settings for all 3 channels |
This process may take up to 1 minute or more.
The receiver is located by the garage door opener motor.
In order to erase all three programmed channels, perform the following procedures:
You may not erase individual channels. Reprogram the individual channels using the programming procedure in this section.
Note to Canadian users:
• | During programming, the customer's hand-held transmitter may automatically stop programming after 1 or 2 seconds. This may not be enough time to program the UGDO transmitter. If you are using one of these transmitters, the light on the UGDO transmitter may emit a series of double flashes. These flashes prompt you to reactivate the hand-held transmitter. After you have reactivated the transmitter, the light on the UGDO transmitter will flash rapidly, indicating that programming has been successful. If the light returns to a slow flash, reactivate the hand-held transmitter until the light flashes rapidly. |
• | Refer to Garage Door Opener Cell 136 in Electrical Diagnosis for electrical schematics under the following conditions: |
- | The light does not perform as indicated. |
- | The opener does not function properly. |
