Did you perform the Power Windows System Check?

  1. Disconnect the power window control module connector.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Connect a (DMM) between the power window module connector terminal A (BRN) and ground.

Does the voltage measure within the specified range?

10-15 V

Repair an open in CKT 141 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring systems.

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Connect a DMM between the power window control module connector terminal C (DK BLU) and ground.
  2. Use the left front power window switch to actuate the left front window UP.

Does the voltage measure within the specified range?

10-15 V

Repair an open in CKT 164 (DK BLU). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Close the left front power window.
  2. Inspect the window regulator counterbalance for proper winding. Refer to Power Windows Circuit Description .

Is the spring winding correct?

Rewind the counterbalance spring. Refer to Power Windows Circuit Description .

Replace the power window control module. Refer to Front Side Door Window Module Replacement .
