Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement Buick

1. Remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
3. Remove the recliner handle, if equipped.
4. Remove the seat switch cover.
5. Remove the armrest, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement .
6. Disengage the J-retainers.
7. Remove the hog rings that retain the seat cushion pad to the springs.
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors (if equipped) with heated seats.
9. Remove the pad and the cover from the frame (3).
10. Remove the hog rings from the bottom of the pad.
11. Remove the trim cover (1) from the cushion (2).

1. Install the trim cover (1) over the cushion (2).

Align the locating holes in the cover to the work lines in the pad.

2. Install the hog rings to the bottom of the pad.
3. Install the cover and the cushion in the frame (3).
4. Install the hog rings in order to retain the seat cushion pad to the springs.
5. Attach the J-retainers.
6. Connect the electrical connectors.
7. Install the armrest, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement .
8. Install the seat switch cover.
9. Install the recliner handle, if equipped.
10. Install the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
11. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .

Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement Oldsmobile

1. Remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
3. Remove the recliner handle, if equipped.
4. Remove the armrest, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement .
5. Disengage the J-retainers.
6. Remove the hog rings that retain the seat cushion pad to the springs.
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors (if equipped) with heated seats.
8. Remove the pad (2) and the cover (1) from the frame (3).
9. Remove the hog rings from the bottom of the pad.
10. Remove the trim cover from the cushion.

1. Install the trim cover over the cushion.

Align the locating holes in the cover to the work lines in the pad.

2. Install the hog rings to the bottom of the pad.
3. Install the cover (1) and the cushion (2) in the frame (3).
4. Install the hog rings in order to retain the seat cushion pad to the springs.
5. Attach the J-retainers.
6. Connect the electrical connectors.
7. Install the armrest, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement .
8. Install the recliner handle, if equipped.
9. Install the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
10. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
