Section the rocker panel instead of performing a complete replacement. Use conventional sectioning procedures for Oldsmobile and Buick.

Do not use conventional sectioning procedures in key structural areas in order to retain structural integrity.

The following procedure is effective only when you replace the wheelhouse.

1. Drill out the factory welds.
2. Pull the rocker panel backward through the wheelhouse.

1. Install the rocker panel through the rear wheelhouse.



2. Plug weld the rocker panel at the original factory welds.
