Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    2. Object Number: 563050 Size: SH
  2. Remove the accelerator controls cable (1) from accelerator controls pedal (2).

    3. Object Number: 563197 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accelerator controls pedal retainer (1) from the accelerator controls pedal.
  4. Remove the accelerator controls pedal (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 563197 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator controls pedal (2).
  2. Install the accelerator controls pedal retainer (3).

    3. Object Number: 563050 Size: SH

    Important: Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal. Also check for poor carpet fit under the accelerator pedal.

    The throttle should operate freely without binding between full closed and wide open throttle (WOT).

  3. Install the accelerator controls cable (1) to accelerator controls pedal (2).
  4. Install the left instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
