SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE SPARE TIRE CARRIER REPLACEMENT

SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE SPARE TIRE CARRIER REPLACEMENT

MODELS/YEARS: 1991 BRAVADA

The following represents new and/or revised information for Section 3E of the 1991 Bravada Service Manual.

FRAME MOUNTED TIRE CARRIER

Remove or Disconnect (Figure 1) 1. Spare tire from its storage location. 2. Bolts (3). 3. Pin (5) and retainer (6). 4. Hoist (2) from the cross bar.

- Hoist will come free of the shaft (1) and cross bar.

Install or Connect (Figure 1)

1. Hoist (2). - Align the hoist with the cross bar (7) and shaft (1). 2. Pin (5). NOTICE: See "NOTICE" on page 3E-l. 3. Bolts (3). Tighten - Bolts (3) to 15 N-m (1 1 ft. lbs.). 4. Spare tire into its storage location.
