For 1990-2009 cars only
- Open the liftgate.
- Pull the assembly away from the vehicle.
- Unclip the wiring harness (A) and remove the three socket retaining screws (B).
- Remove the socket by releasing the retaining tabs.
- Holding the socket, pull the bulb to release it from the socket.
- Push the new bulb into the socket until it clicks.
- Reinstall the socket and screws.
- Reconnect the wiring harness.
- Reinstall the lamp assembly and tighten the screws.
- Close the liftgate.
Remove the two screws from the lamp assembly.
