REAR SUSPENSION SPRING CLUNK INSTALL LWR. SPRING INSULATOR

SUBJECT: REAR SUSPENSION SPRING CLUNK - INSTALL SPRING LOWER INSULATORS

MODELS/YEARS: 1991 CUSTOM CRUISER

CONDITION: Some 1991 Custom Cruisers assembled prior to vehicle number MW307376 may exhibit a dunking type noise from the rear of the vehicle when being operated over irregular road surfaces.

CAUSE: Rear coil spring movement on rear axle assembly spring seats.

CORRECTION: Install rear spring lower insulators at the spring to axle assembly seat interface. P/N 10004110 (2 required per vehicle) is currently available from GMSPO. Follow applicable Service Manual procedures.
