CONDITION: Front doors won't hold open on a slight incline or front doors are hard to open.
CAUSE: Door hold open spring is too weak or too strong on vehicles prior to vehicle number MW302803.
CORRECTION: Replace the door hold open spring with P/N 20361482. Be sure to replace both RH and LH front door hold open springs at the time of repair. Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
SPRING REMOVAL TOOL: A loaner tool program has been set up through Kent-Moore. Just call 1-800-345-2233 and ask for J-39079-LNR. Due to the limited number of tools available, please schedule vehicles in a timely manner and return the loan tool as soon as possible using the return label.
