Condition
Some owners may comment that the rear compartment deck (trunk) lid does not stay in the full open position.
Correction
Adjust (move) the torque rod on the left (driver's) side of the rear compartment (trunk) to the rear most position (1) as shown in the Figure. For information on performing the adjustment, refer to the Body Rear End sub-section in the Service Manual.
Important: Do not adjust the torque rod on the right (passenger) side of the rear compartment to correct the above described condition.
