SOME 1986 CALAIS MODELS EQUIPPED WITH 3.0L MPFI ENGINE (VIN CODE L)

Some 1986 Calais models equipped with a 3.0L MPFI engine (VIN Code L) may experience a condition described as poor cold driveability, tip-in sag, hesitation or surge.

If any of these conditions are encountered and cannot be repaired using currently published diagnostic and service information, it may be necessary to install a new service prom, part no. 16059958.
