A remanufactured unit is used to replace the new CS-121 and CS-130 generaton or PMGR starter motors. Both a remanufactured unit and service parts are available for CS-144.
The service parts available for the CS-144 generator models 1105615, 1105616, 1105625 and 1105626 are listed below and are available from WDDGM through normal parts ordering procedures.
Complete CS-144 remanufactured generator assemblies will continue to be available for service when component repair is impractical.
A core information tag comes with the remanufactured assembly. This tag is to be completed and returned with the defective generator or starter motor.
It is very important that this tag be filled out completely. With complete information, Delco Remy will be able to quickly identify and correct any problem areas on these new products.
General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
